Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using SoloGallery. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoloGallery, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

SoloGallery is a mobile photo gallery application for iOS and Android that runs entirely on-device. Photo indexing, search, and face grouping are computed locally using on-device machine learning. The app does not require an account, does not sync to any cloud, and does not make network requests after install.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SoloGallery for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms of Service.

4. User Responsibilities

When using SoloGallery, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the app
• Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or overburden it
• Keep your device secure, since your entire photo index lives there

5. Your Photos

SoloGallery is granted access to your photo library solely to display, index, and organize it on your device. Original photos are never modified or duplicated by the app's core browsing and search features; any edits you make are stored as separate, reversible instructions.

6. Data and Privacy

SoloGallery is designed with privacy as a constraint, not a feature toggle. All indexing and analysis happens locally, and we do not collect, transmit, or store any of your photos or personal information on any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Disclaimers

SoloGallery is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app, its search, or its face recognition will be error-free or available at all times. You use the app at your own risk.

On-device face and scene recognition is provided for organizational convenience and may occasionally mislabel or miss content. It should not be relied on for any purpose beyond personal photo organization.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from your use of SoloGallery — including data loss resulting from device loss, since no cloud backup of the app's index is maintained by us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on this page. Continued use of SoloGallery after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
